Be A Volunteer

We need you.

How Can You Help?

The Clemmons Food Pantry is staffed entirely by volunteers, and it takes a staff of more than 125 volunteers each week to keep the Pantry running smoothly. Opportunities to help include supporting fund raisers, shelving food, shopping, picking up food from local stores, working at the Pantry during store hours and assisting with various business & administrative tasks.

Whether you choose to work directly with clients or in one of the many behind the scenes jobs, you can be sure that the work you do will make a difference in the lives of those served.

Volunteering is Easy:

Step 1: Attend an orientation session

In order to begin helping at the Pantry, new volunteers should attend an introductory meeting. We will share information about the Pantry; cover the variety of volunteer opportunities that are available; provide a tour of our facility; and help you access our online sign-up system.

Orientation meetings typically are the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm.

UPCOMING ORIENTATION MEETINGS for new volunteers will be on July 12, August 9, and September 13.
